11 months agoThe food is amazing. I ordered steak tacos and they are the most seasoned steak tacos I’ve had in Illinois. This place is very small and cozy which makes it feel like home. I have a toddler that was able to eat chicken soup here and he loved it too.

11 months agoExactly what you expect from a local Mexican restaurant, which is a good thing. Prices are reasonable, tacos are still less than $3.00, which in 2025 is a good price! The food is good too, authentic, and portions are good.

a year agoIt doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is exquisite. I didn't have a lot. Just a quick bite and I can't wait to come back. The tortillas were hand made there. I could tell, but I asked just to verify. The steak taco meat was amazing. I rarely taste such good steak taco meat. The chief said they make everything fresh. It takes longer, but they take pride in their food. It shows. I think everyone in the area should take a moment to go there.

3 years agoFood was amazing!! Best burrito I've had in a long time. The hot sauce was legit! Put as much as I could stand on each bite, cause the flavor was perfect. Also, you gotta try their house made drinks! The hot drinks are incredible, and so are the three cold ones. Really great experience!

5 years agoExcellent food, everything seems freshly made. The staff were really friendly. I had the Chilaquiles Verdes and they were made like if you were in Mexico. It’s a family business and you can tell they put a lot of hard work and pride into their food. A little pricey for my meal but of course the quality of the food speaks for itself.
